General Summary:Lead the Continuous Improvement team in Lean & Six Sigma initiatives. Provide leadership horizontally across the value chain in completion of tasks identified.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:I. Lean Six Sigma• Lead implementation of company journey in Lean• Develop integrated lean strategy for Indianapolis to include growth elements and shopfloor lean initiatives.• Identify & implement improvement efforts throughout the Supply Chain.• Provide Lean technical assistance / training in support of manufacturing initiatives.• Identify specific technical projects that lead to improvements and support overall manufacturing strategy.• Identify and track tangible returns tied to specific improvement actions (YTD Cost Savings / YTD Cost Avoidance).• Perform work, promote teamwork and communicate in conjunction with our culture and corporate standards (Safety/Environmental, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Communication, Internal Controls, etc.).II. Sales & Operations Planning• Create, implement & sustain demand forecasting at aggregate & BOM level when applicable• Improve S&OP with Materials Management (TBD).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Team Player a must with strong communication, organizational, and written skills• Expert knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques and tools.• Computer competency with CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, other software as needed.

Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Engineering) required with 3-5 years. MBA preferred.• Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
