General Electric FP&A Operations Manager in Baghdad, Iraq
The FP&A Operations Manager will own financial reporting and analytics for BHGE Iraq OFS-ALS Business, This role is central to the coordination and execution of OFS Finance processes, and is a critical partner to the ALS Country Business Leader and Finance Leader of the Country. Primary responsibilities include execution of planning sessions, closing and reporting, balance sheet and income statement analytics, and cross-team leadership within the Finance function and Business.
OFS-ALS is a large and growing business in IRAQ. The business operates in a complex and dynamic market landscape, with fast-moving technological and competitive developments. The FP&A Operations Manager role will build in-depth understanding of business operations through the lens of the Finance function, and will have broad exposure to multiple Finance disciplines, including Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Projects and Services Finance, Tax, and Controllership.
As OFS-ALS FP&A Operations Manager, you will:
• Support balance sheet, income statement, and cash analytics / forecasting
• Participate and coordinate planning sessions for the business
• Support pacing, closing, and reporting of financials on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Coordinate and provide cross-team leadership within the Finance function and the Business
• Maintain finance process building and control development / oversight
• Liaise with OFS-ALS HQ Finance team
• Support special projects for IRAQ Finance Leader
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in FP&A Operations.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
