Our client, an Eden Prairie based financial services firm, is currently looking for an Annuities Administrative Assistant to join their team in a temporary capacity to cover for an individual out on medical leave. This assignment is expected to last 4-6 weeks initially, but could extend longer based on the volume, and for the right person, could turn into a full-time position. Duties for this role include: > Process annuity applications in a timely manner > Provide customer service to both internal and external customers, both via the phone and by email > Follow-up on outstanding questions or issues, providing status updates to customers in a timely manner > Assist with the maintenance of client files > Enter information into the company database, editing incorrect information from forms and applications as necessary > Complete various special projects as assigned The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior administrative or office experience, have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is required. Additionally, you must have prior financial services or annuities experience as this is a very specific industry which requires specific knowledge to step in quickly and add value.
