Lockheed Martin Logistics Management Analyst in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Description: Identify materials and supplies which are necessary for the success of training courses. Perform research as needed in order to identify sources of supply and to identify any efficiencies which may be leveraged across multiple courses. Recommend, if appropriate, minimum stock levels of consistently required materials or long-lead items.1.1 Assist the Government with all actions related to the execution of purchases to fulfill subsequent procurement decisions.

Perform a variety of Supply Administration tasks such as:

Tasks associated with shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, and delivery of supplies and equipment.

Conducting formal and informal inventories when requested by the USASOC Property Book Officer or the COR and making needed adjustments to property records.

Maintaining property book and document register. Maintaining records at all times showing the location of Government furnished property and the personnel charged with its care and safekeeping.

The accounting must be continuous from the time of acquisition until consumption or disposal of the property occurs.

Maintaining a record of supplies and items within the stockrooms, verifying orders with supplies delivered, and using Government-provided handheld computers/software to keep track of supply inventory.

Processing Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) /Statements of Charges.

With Government coordination/approval from the COR, determining stock levels, retention points, and reorder points; requisitioning stock when needed; and identifying excess or unserviceable items for turn-in/disposition.

Preparing and maintaining equipment issue forms, turn-in documents, and individual hand receipts.

Receiving and inspecting supply items; warehousing and Issuing individual equipment to the user (Contractor and Government) in accordance with U.S. Army property accountability policies and regulations.

Providing the COR with updated Government Furnished Equipment inventory lists upon request by the COR and within two hours of stated request.

Ensuring personnel exercise proper care and custody over the Government property for which they are responsible. Briefing all personnel entrusted with Government property on the proper use, care, custody, safekeeping, and disposition of all Government property. Records shall be kept on all personnel who are briefed

Analyzes statistical data and reports to ascertain trends, conformance to standard and directives, and efficiency of operations.

Desired Skills: Two or more years supporting logistics operations and procedures within SOF or Special Missions Units in the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Specifically, experience receiving, inspecting, inventorying, storing, issuing, delivering and turning in organization and installation supplies and equipment.

36 months or more of direct experience with request, receipt, storage, issue, accountability, and preservation of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies and equipment.

36 months or more of direct experience in micro-purchasing of materials and/or training.

Experience preparing unit or organizational supply documents. Experience managing automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment. Experience inspecting completed work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Familiarity with reviewing and annotating changes to unit material condition status report. Familiarity posting transactions to organizational and installation property books and supporting transaction files. Familiarity examining daily and monthly records of issues of operating supplies.

Ability to analyze statistical data and reports to ascertain trends, conformance to standard and directives, and efficiency of operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
