The Emergency Center is a specialized unit which caters to cancer patients. This unit is comprised of 42 beds and several rooms are designated for the most emergent situations.
Salary range: min-$28,800 mid-$36,000 max-$43,200
Function provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Essential Job Functions
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs.
Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of relevant work experience.
May substitute additional education for required experience a one to one basis. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
