Oracle (BIZ) Sr. Principal Product Strategist/Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for a world class Product Manager (PM) tofocus on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) writing Oracle Databaseapplications to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) product managementteam. PMs are in the OCI engineeringteam and work closely with key Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) andcustomers to help design, build and deploy enterprise workloads on the OCIplatform. This is a critically importantrole, acting as the public face of the organization, working with our mostimportant and influential ISV partners and customers.

In this role - your key accountabilities will be asfollows:
Be the public face of OCI with partners and our mutual customers
Drive ISV design wins, bookings, revenue and references for ISV solutions on OCI
Help our partners design, sell and deploy cloud-based solutions for enterprise customers
Engender trust with partners, customers, field sales, engineering and management
Communicate the OCI story and present Oracle based solutions in a compelling way that is customized for the challenges each customer and partner faces
Engage deeply with our customers, partners and engineering organizations to learn about the needs of our ecosystem and to provide actionable feedback from customers.
To deliver on your accountabilities we are looking forthe following skills / qualifications:
Experience managing large ISV relationships, including managing both technical & sales enablement work streams across large, matrixed organizations.
Experience in driving the sales process across field teams, managing customer sales pipelines, capturing bookings, revenue and customer references.
Business experience in working with ISVs, Oracle database and cloud infrastructure technology (compute, network, storage, database) desired. Understanding of how these technologies are commonly used by customers and the ecosystem of Oracle ISVs.
Excellent communication and business relationship skills, with an ability to right level conversations to produce results as measured by ISV design wins, bookings, revenue and customer references
Broad business and some technical experience in cloud platforms, knowing how, when and why the cloud is being adopted by customers.
Work with the DevOps teams to ensure the services we build meet the needs of the partners and customers that ultimately will use them.
Experience in working across multiple internal teams and groups to deliver results
Learn from our partner and customer engagements. Our success depends on honestly representing our platform and making them relevant to our customers and partners. We need PMs who can develop insight into customer and partner priorities and systematically advocate for them within our engineering organization.
