Oracle Value Consulting Director - ERP/CX/HCM in Irving, Texas
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Oracle's Value Consultants are a key member of the pre-salesteam. They will be supporting Oracle's Integrated Value Services(IVS) Engagement Model with each customer interaction.
Value Consultants must have an executive presence and must beable to identify prior successful executive interaction. ValueConsultants will bridge customer challenges to Oracle capabilities andidentified/quantified value. Value Consultants must possess business caseskills with prior benchmarking experience.
Key Responsibilities/Skills Required
Knowledgeable in the areas of Customer Experience Management, ERP, HCM including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Service, Social and e-commerce
Work independently to drive a territory value plan to build downstream sales pipeline
Lead and assist in building client value business cases to engage in both client and sales initiated selling campaigns
Engage with client executives in deriving, delivering and reconciling client value assessments
Serve as the subject matter expert on business case development,
Value Consultants are required to interact and collaborate with senior level executives.
Capture value sources and validate potential strategic and tangible benefits of the Oracle solution set
Lead business case development across multiple groups at both the customer and Oracle
Validate findings and benefit estimates with customer executives
Present final report to customer executives
Manage multiple value selling opportunities simultaneously

3years vendor (sales and marketing) experience.
15 years business experience with relevant computer applications. I.E. solutions such as Oracle SaaS ERP OR HCM OR CX.
Thorough knowledge of system and application design & In-depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
Travel as needed.
BS/BA degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
