City National Bank Investigations Analyst in Los Angeles, California

Assist Corporate Security managers and Investigators in identifying and mitigating potential fraud and/or physical safety/security threats to City National Bank, its clients, facilities and/or property.

Basic Qualifications:

  • *Minimum 3 years of experience with financial fraud or law enforcement analysis or equivalent experience

  • *Minimum 3 years of experience with risk monitoring software (i.e.: Actimize)

  • *Minimum 3 years of experience with regulatory/compliance (i.e.: BSA and Corporate Security)

Responsibilities:

  • Collation, research and analysis of information and data from a variety of sources such as BATS/Info electronic fraud risk mitigation database systems and related software information

  • Assess impact of security events based on knowledge and tools available and then provide security focused recommendations based off of intelligence findings

  • Clearly document/communicate processes and findings to management

  • Documenting and recording fraud alert and statistics/data in written reports

  • Assist Corp Sec managers and investigators in initiating fraud investigation case management materials, reports, and other administrative procedures.

  • Provide support in preparation of fraud statistical reporting.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of data and network security technologies, including in depth knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and solutions.

  • Intelligence and data analysis; fraud alerts monitoring; strong verbal and writing skills; knowledge of Excel and other office automation tools and software.

  • Understanding of money laundering and other financial crime typologies.

  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within the deadlines.

  • Ability to make sound decisions as to non-suspicious and potentially suspicious activity.

  • Ability to complete high quality work products including clear and concisely written assessments, supported by strong analyses and documentation.

  • Team player and professional responsibility

  • Ability to work independently.
