STARS is a state of the art Category Management partnership that Luxottica offers to select accounts to help them maximize their merchandising turns by managing the Assortment Planning and the related replenishment routines on the customer’s behalf. The STARS Ops Specialist is responsible for monitoring the generation of the orders, follow through the delivery creation and communication with the distribution center.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order generation and fulfillment
Daily checking of order portfolio generation and coordinate any related actions with the relevant planners
Ensure prompt order allocations, removal of delivery blocks, creation of deliveries and smooth execution of the EDI related processes
Communicate with internal functions in relation to the order fulfillment and with the distribution center on workloads and specific order requirements
Issue return authorizations removal of delivery blocks, creation of deliveries and smooth execution of the EDI related processes
Manage removal of delivery blocks, creation of deliveries and smooth execution of the EDI related processes
Order portfolio and Ops performance reporting
Report on order portfolio generation and fulfillment for the planners and customers
Communicate with customers on any order related inquiries via phone and email
Troubleshoot any issues relate to order processing and invoicing
Respond to customer inquiries on quality of the shipments and coordinate all the related internal and external communication through resolution
Report on compliance issues periodically to relevant parties
Assist on selected business development initiatives/projects to support STARS development
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience on customer service or order management
Strong analytic skills and business acumen
Sound interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent ability to identify business issues and solve them autonomously
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP is a requirement, JDA is a plus
