On a daily basis, a Business Team Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Nurturing and building out the future talent of the business by generously

  • dedicating time to mentor and coach others

  • Working with the CCB Country Head to set targets, define the business’s value proposition and execute on the immediate to mid-term strategy

  • Driving and being accountable for how the business performs on all economic and cultural measures

  • Ensuring we deliver a remarkable experience to clients across all touch points by partnering with teams across silos to create intuitive and differentiated solutions

  • Providing the oversight, guidance and controls for teams to meet business benchmarks in an ethical and sustainable way that complies with all local/regional/global requirements

  • Conveying a strong, consistent impression of Citi across all audiences,

  • whether speaking with internal teams or to current and future clients

Qualifications

A successful Business Team Lead has these skills:

  • An optimistic and proactive approach to finding new opportunities for clients, looking beyond immediate business silos and geographic borders

  • A deep expertise and aptitude for all topics related to commercial banking, products and risk management

  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients

  • Typically, someone in this role has the following experience

  • At least 3 years leadership experience in acquiring new customers and 7-10 years banking experience

  • Good credit analysis skill and knowledge about PBOC/ SAFE regulations

  • Good knowledge about Banking products, manufacturing industry segments and experience in handling SME customers

  • Ability and experience to assist team members in new customer acquisition

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated and achievement oriented

  • Hold a Bachelor degree or above

  • Good command of Chinese and English in both oral and written communications
